Who IS GLENN FISHER?

Well, as you’ve already figured out, my name is Glenn Fisher.

What you might not know yet is that I was born in Grimsby in 1981.

After working for a number of years at the local council straight out of college, I returned to education as a ‘mature student’ to study creative writing at The Grimsby Institute.

In 2008, I moved to London, where I lived for a decade working as a Copy Chief for the internationally-renowned financial publisher The Agora, before moving back to Grimsby in 2018 to write freelance.

In 2019, my first non-fiction book, The Art of the Click, was published by Harriman House. It became an Amazon bestseller, was shortlisted for the Business Book Awards, and has been translated into Simplified Chinese and Korean.

In 2023 I moved to Sheffield where I continue to work as a freelance copywriter for a few select clients. I also co-founded a private network for copywriters called The Fix and provide bespoke consultation and training days for companies around the world with fellow co-founder, Nick O’Connor through Untold.

I also write fiction and have had short stories and criticism published online in Lunate, Litro, and 3am Magazine. I am currently working on my first novel.

I live happily with my partner Ruth and my dog Pablo.

That’s the abridged version. Feel free to get in touch to find out more. Or you can see more of what I’m up to on social media here:

WORK WITH ME

If you’d like to hire me to write copy for your company, or if you’re interested in having Nick and I come in to help train your copy or marketing team, email me or get in touch using the form below.

Every business is different. So, whether it’s me writing your sales copy, you and I working on your branding together, or Nick and I helping your in-house copywriters improve their skills - what you specifically need from me will be different too.

It’s why, whenever I work with someone new, I’ll first take the time to get to know you and your business. We’ll talk. We’ll figure out what you need. And we’ll work out if I’m the best person to help you get what you want and where you need to be.

If I am the person best suited to the job, we’ll figure out a plan together that suits your budget and your timescales. We’ll put a clear schedule in place and, as soon as we can, we’ll get cracking.

But as I say, it all starts with a chat. Truth is, you might not even be sure what you need at the moment. You might just know that you need to make more sales and you need some help with it.

If that is the case, then I might be your man. Get in touch by emailing me or using the form below and we’ll find out.

If you want to write to sell and pay your bills, follow Glenn Fisher’s advice.

Get in touch

If you'd like to see if I'm available to write copy for you or if you’d like Nick and me to help train your copy/marketing team, just pop in your details and message below. I'll be in touch. I’m also happy to speak at your event or join you as a guest on your podcast. Again, just give me a shout.

I’ll try to get back to you as soon as possible, but please forgive me if I'm delayed chasing my dog Pablo around the garden to retrieve an article of clothing he's stolen. It happens more often than it should.

Here's the form! The more detail, the better

Glenn is among the best in the UK at this. Maybe anywhere.
